dB DnB Showcase presented Onset and DnB Tuesdays

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Seattle’s purveyors of drum and bass culture return this year to present another showcase for Decibel Festival. DNB Tuesdays at the Baltic Room has a sizable history in the world of West Coast jungle, holding it down for 15 years. Similarly, Onset at Temple Billiards has been pushing heavy bass every Saturday for a decade.
Together, DNB Tuesdays and Onset present a special showcase of soulful domestic DnB talent, including the Detroit-based Sinistarr (Metalheadz, Hospital Records) and the SF-based trio Bachelors of Science. Seattle DNB pioneers Kid Hops and Demo share the bill with Onset’s Grym. Sure to be a night of high energy and low frequencies.

Human Imprint / Barcode / Onset Audio / 360BPM / DNB Tuesdays
Seattle’s Demo could be called an overnight success, but only if that night lasted eleven years. A founding member of the 360BPM crew, Demo promoted one of the longest-running DnB weeklies and had a huge hand in the inception and growth of Seattle’s Drum and Bass scene. Years of warming up the decks for some of the biggest acts in Drum and Bass and countless hours in the studio proved fruitful when Barcode’s 2005 releases of "Us... Read More →

Just over a decade ago, Seth Broman made a move that would end up having a hand in shaping the sound of one of the strongest bass scenes in the nation. Moving from dance floor junglist to selector, Broman took the moniker Grym and by 2000, he was cutting his teeth as one of the city’s premier drum & bass DJs in the Seattle circuit. Two years later, along with a few like-minded individuals, he set to creating the soundtrack to... Read More →

As a child of the 80s, Homemade Weapons (Andre Delgado) witnessed the birth and growth of many musical styles, and has always favored the extreme ends of the spectrum - from frighteningly heavy to delicately soft. Having fully internalized the musical ethos of his native Baltimore/DC, and his more recent backdrop of Seattle, WA, his music exhibits a combination of subtlety, power, and depth, rare in any genre, but much more so in the confines...
