Midnight Shift is a spirited entity grounded in sound. It is an electronic music events organization and record label uprising bringing the emerging and established together in production and performance on one global stage. The organization has been active since 2008.
Almost eight years after the release of "24 Heures" (released by Goodlife), Oxia, a pioneer of the French electronic scene, is back in 2012 at last with a new LP. Perfectionist par excellence, Olivier Raymond is well known for his rare but highly appreciated productions.
As a DJ, Terrence Parker (known to many as "TP") has become legendary for his quite uncommon yet skillful turntablism style of playing House Music. TP's collective musical works and pioneering efforts have been recognized as a valuable contribution to Detroit's music history, as well as the International History Dance Music. As with his deejaying style, Basic Soul Unit's productions can swing from lush and soulful melodic techno to jacking beats or smokey deep house (with hints of above aforementioned influences). He has released music on respected labels such as Dolly, Philpot, Mathematics, Mule Electronic, Versatile, Ostgut Ton, New Kanada, and Creme Organization. Norman Chung makes you move and opens your mind, letting you accept a wider spectrum of music and at a level of quality that sets the bar for you thereafter.
