From the more traditional Jamaican stylings of Mad Professor to the bass-driven dubstep of Benga, Decibel has had a love affair with dub since inception. This year will be kicking out the 2012 club showcases with dub-drenched techno from Berlin, the West Coast and China opening night.
Headlining the 2012 dB in Dub showcase will be Decibel veteran Monolake who will be performing his critically acclaimed 2012 "Ghosts" album in surround sound with visual artist Tarik Barri (west coast debut). Bvdub will be making his Seattle debut. One of the most prolific producers in electronic music today, bvdub seamlessly blends dub, techno and ambient sounds. Lastly, the Dub Techno duo Cyanwave have been one of Seattle's best kept secrets since they started collaborating in 2008.
