dB & Dimensions Boat Party
This year Decibel Festival will be expanding our infamous boat party series from two to four days. In addition, this year's boat parties will offer a wider variety of musical styles including house, techno, grime, soul, funk and hip hop. These feel-good afternoon cruises on scenic Lake Washington and Lake Union are the perfect compliment to the Decibel Festival club experience. For our initial boat party, we're pleased to be co-curating and presenting with one of Europe's finest electronic music festivals, Dimensions (#3 on RA's top September festivals). This program will feature three highly anticipated performers from the 2012 Decibel Festival program, Star Slinger, Jimmy Edgar and Appleblim, who will be deejaying a variety of summer-vibe tunes ideal for the environment. For our third boat party, we're pleased to be presenting alongside the Seattle-based house collective Uniting Souls, who we've been co-producing the dB boat parties with going back to 2008 when they first began.

Headlining the Future Funk H20 showcase is Swiss producer/deejay Ripperton, who will be making his Northwest debut. Support includes Hypercolour recording artist J. Alvarez, LawnChair General Doza and Unitiing Souls' resident deejays, Ramiro, Jeromy Nail and Deepvibez.

Last year we brought you the Slow Boat with Tiger n Woods, Tanner Ross, Slow Hands and Deniz Kurtel. This year for the official closing dB boat party, Portland based music collective alga-rhythms + decibel are teaming up once again to present: WASHED UP!

Promising to be another epic aquatic adventure on the Islander featuring Swedish house weirdo Axel Boman (NW debut), M A N I K, and alga-rhythms own Tyler Morrison + The Perfect Cyn.
